Alexandria, VA, USA – 2019 marks the Centennial of the Journal of Dental Research (JDR). Over the last century the JDR has been dedicated to the dissemination of new knowledge and information on all sciences relevant to dentistry and to the oral cavity and associated structures in health and disease. To celebrate, the JDR is featuring a yearlong, monthly commemorative article and podcast series that highlights topics that have transformed dental, oral and craniofacial research over the past 100 years.

IADR/AADR ANNOUNCE THE JDR’S 2018 IMPACT FACTOR

Alexandria, Va., USA – Today, the International and American Associations for Dental Research announced the Journal of Dental Research (JDR) 2-Year Impact Factor in the “Dentistry, Oral Surgery & Medicine” category at 5.125, its second year in a row above 5. This news comes from the just released 2018 Journal Citation Reports® (Clarivate Analytics, 2019). The Impact Factor is a measure of the frequency with which the average article in a journal has been cited in a particular year and helps to evaluate a journal’s relative importance, especially when compared with others in the same field.
