AADR/IADR William J. Gies Awards

This annual award recognizes the best papers published in the Journal of Dental Research for the period of July 1 through June 30 preceding the IADR General Session. One paper is selected in each category: Clinical, Biological, and Biomaterials & Bioengineering.

IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Awards

This award was established to support students and young investigators doing research in the area of oral disease prevention. Young investigators (up to five years post-graduation from dental, dental hygiene, specialty training, or pre-PhD) are eligible to apply for a travel award. (No persons having already obtained a PhD are eligible to apply.)

IADR Distinguished Scientist Award

The IADR Distinguished Scientist Awards program was designed to acknowledge renowned scientists who have made significant scientific contributions of original, outstanding, or innovative discoveries in the related field of research. There are 17 awards in various scientific research specialties.

IADR Innovation in Oral Care Awards

Proposals focus on new innovative oral care technologies that can be used routinely by the public to maintain and improve oral health and the quality of life.

IADR Young Investigator Award

This award is designed to stimulate basic research in all dental research disciplines. The nominee must be within 10 years of completing his/her last terminal degree (PhD, DDS, DMD, MD, etc.) at the time of the submission deadline.

IADR Academy of Osseointegration Innovation in Implant Sciences Award

This Award is intended to help investigators pursue innovative and novel research in oral care that involves, but is not limited to, dental implant therapy.

IADR Distinguished Service Award

This award is presented to an individual member for outstanding instances of service to the Association or distinguished service over a period of time. It is intended to recognize members who have not served as officers of IADR.

IADR E.W. Borrow Memorial Award

This award is intended to recognize and stimulate research in oral health promotion for children.

IADR KULZER Travel Award

The objective of this award program is to encourage young investigators to undertake research in new/innovative testing methods of dental materials, and new ideas and approaches to improve and develop dental materials. oung investigators (up to five years post-graduation from dental, material science, specialty training, or pre-PhD) are eligible to apply for a travel award. (No persons having already obtained a PhD are eligible to apply.)

IADR Unilever Hatton Competition and Awards

Awards are made to young investigators selected by each of the IADR Divisions and non-Divisional Sections and judged best in presenting meritorious oral presentations on original research at the IADR General Session.
