Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV)
The IADR General Session & Exhibition in Washington, D.C. March 18-21, 2020 will proceed as planned.
The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and
its Divisions have been following the developments regarding the new strain of
coronavirus causing pneumonia-like symptoms first identified in China, although
now in several other countries. On January 30, 2020, the World Health
Organization declared the that the outbreak of 2019-nCoV constituted a Public
Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).
advisories have been issued regarding travel to China and most airline carriers
have greatly reduced the number of flights to and from China for the coming
weeks. It is unknown at this point if travel restrictions will still be
in place in March.

to coronavirus-related travel restrictions should refer to
IADR refund, cancellation and substitution policy.
