Fields marked with * are required.

This year the American Association for Dental Research (AADR) National Student Research Group (NSRG) along with the Government Affairs Committee (GAC) would like to recognize a student for outstanding contributions in advocacy for oral health research by awarding The Student Advocate of the Year Award. The winner of the award will be announced during the winter of 2017. The recipient will receive travel and a one night hotel accommodation for participation in the annual AADR Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill program.

To apply, complete the application form and brief essay questions by January 13, 2017.

Students may nominate themselves or be nominated by another AADR member. The nominee must be a member of the AADR NSRG. (As the current Gert Quigley Fellow is already funded to attend the AADR Advocacy Day, they are not eligible for this award.)

  • Responded to an AADR advocacy action alert.
