2016 AADR William B. Clark Fellowship Awarded to Yau-Hua Yu
Alexandria, Va., USA – The American Association for Dental Research (AADR) has announced Yau-Hua Yu as the recipient of the 2016 AADR William B. Clark Fellowship. She will be recognized at the Association’s 45th Annual Meeting & Exhibition in Los Angeles, Calif., USA, on March 16, 2016, at the Opening Ceremonies. This meeting will be held in conjunction with the 40th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research.
Yu is an assistant clinical professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Mass., USA, and a collaborator at Brigham Women’s Hospital, Boston, Mass., USA. Her research interests include periodontology and periodontal disease. This award will not only further enrich her experiences in clinical research of periodontal disease, but specifically, the proposed training will provide her with new skills to conduct the leading-edge genome-wide association analysis of periodontal disease.
The AADR William B. Clark Fellowship was established in memory of William B. Clark and is supported by P&G Professional Oral Health, Crest + Oral-B. The award recognizes investigators carrying out clinical research in periodontology.
