Poster Submission Deadline: September 5, 2019
The AADR NSRG is committed to supporting students in their endeavors to
disseminate and develop their research and network at the local, regional, and
national levels. To that end, the AADR NSRG wishes to recognize outstanding
student achievement in research through the Fall Focused Symposium Student
Criteria and Rules of Conduct:
Applicants must be a student currently enrolled in a graduate, professional
degree, or post-doctoral training program. Applicants may be IADR/AADR members
or non-members, but, consistent with IADR/AADR conditions:
register and present research findings in person (poster) at the 2019 AADR
Fall Focused Symposium.
must be presented by the author at the 2019 Fall Focused Symposium to be
eligible for the award.
Abstracts should be submitted for the 2019 JCVI/AADR Fall Focused Symposium by
the deadline. The theme for the 2019 JCVI /AADR Fall Focused Symposium is
“Integrating Omic Datasets Towards Translation.” The symposium will be held
November 14-15, 2018, at the The J. Craig Venter Institute, La Jolla CA., USA. Visit

A Subcommittee of the NSRG Board will evaluate submitted abstracts through a
blind review process and select one to receive the Award. Abstracts will be
judged based on clarity, methodology, relevance and potential impact.
A ribbon will be given to the winner for display on their poster during the
2019 Fall Focused Symposium. Upon completion of the Symposium, the winner will
be mailed a check for $250.
