New! for the 2021 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session:
The 2021 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session is scheduled to be a hybrid meeting, with both in-person and virtual components. Due to the logistics surrounding managing the scientific program in a hybrid format priority for oral delivery of research will be given to symposia. There will be limited options for oral presentation derived from abstract submission. The majority of abstract submissions will be scheduled as poster presentations. At the time of submission, you can indicate if you would like to be considered for an oral session should space allow. However, not all requests can be accommodated and the final presentation mode will be selected by the applicable Group Program Chair.
In order to complete submission of an abstract a non-refundable $25 USD fee must be paid when prompted. This is a one-time fee for each unique abstract. Should an existing abstract submission need to be returned to draft for edits prior to the submission deadline the fee will not be re-charged. However, should a new abstract submission be created as opposed to returning an existing abstract submission to draft to make edits, the non-refundable $25 USD fee will be charged again.
IADR will allow submission of abstracts accepted and archived as part of the canceled 2020 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session if the content has not yet been presented or published (online or in print) elsewhere by the start of the 2021 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session (July 21, 2021). Submitters will be required to provide confirmation of the abstract’s presence in the IADR Abstract Archive at the time of submission.
If you have submitted your abstract to a Scientific Group/Network that has been selected for a pilot program to create sessions from cross-collaborative themes if applicable to the topic of your abstract. Themes and related Scientific Group/Networks included for the 2021 submission process are as follows:
  • Materials for Regenerative Dentistry (Dental Materials/Pulp Biology & Regeneration)
  • Oral Health Inequalities: From Evidence to Action (Global Oral Health Inequalities Research/Behavioral, Epidemiologic & Health Services Research)
