AADOCR/IADR William J. Gies Awards

This annual award recognizes the best papers published in the Journal of Dental Research for the period of July 1 through June 30 preceding the IADR General Session. One paper is selected in each category: Clinical, Biological, and Biomaterials & Bioengineering.

AADOCR Student Research Day Award

The AADR Student Research Day Award is awarded to the best presentation at the university research day competition.  The award shall be determined by the university judging committee.  AADOCR will support an award of $500 and complimentary General Session Registration will assist in travel to the next AADOCR or IADR General Session.

AADOCR Bloc Travel Grant

Funding from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIH-NIDCR) supports travel for dental students and NIDCR-supported trainees to the AADOCR Annual Meeting for presentation of scientific papers on dental research. If granted, qualified individuals will be selected to receive funds on the basis of the quality of an abstract accepted for presentation at the Meeting. The funds are used to assist in supporting travel expenses. For dental students enrolled in accredited U.S. dental schools (at the time of submission) and NIDCR-supported trainees.
