Alexandria, Va., USA – The International and American Associations for Dental Research (IADR/AADR) have published an article titled “Tooth Loss Increases the Risk of Diminished Cognitive Function: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis” in the OnlineFirst portion of the JDR Clinical & Translational Research. In it, Cerutti-Kopplin et al systematically assessed the association between oral health and cognitive function in adult populations.

IADR/AADR Publish Inaugural Issue of JDR Clinical & Translational Research

Alexandria, Va., USA – The International and American Associations for Dental Research (IADR/AADR) have just released the inaugural issue of the JDR Clinical & Translational Research, which is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing original dental, oral and craniofacial research at the interface between discovery science and clinical application. Under the editorship of Jocelyne Feine, McGill University Faculty of Dentistry, Montréal, QC, Canada, this new publication emphasizes translation of research into healthcare delivery systems at the individual patient, clinical practice, and community levels.

IADR/AADR Announce Winners of the William J. Gies Awards

Alexandria, Va., USA – The International and American Associations for Dental Research (IADR/AADR) have announced the 2016 recipients of the IADR/AADR William J. Gies Award for Biological Research. The award for Biological Research will be presented at the 45th Annual Meeting & Exhibition of the AADR in Los Angeles, Calif., USA, on March 16. The Biomaterials & Bioengineering Research and Clinical Research categories will be presented at the IADR General Session & Exhibition in Seoul, Republic of Korea on June 22, 2016.
