Why is the registration fee for the General Session the same price for virtual and in-person attendees?
The registration fee for all General Session
attendees (virtual and in-person) are the same as the cost incurred for a
hybrid meeting is equivalent to an in-person event. There are added costs of providing
content both in-person and online. There are fixed costs for the Convention
Center, audio visual providers, labor and a platform to provide content. While
the registration fee is the same for all attendees, virtual attendees will
overall bear a lower cost without travel or hotel fees
.
How is the
in-person meeting being held?
The IADR is
following CDC and WHO Guidelines and Boston Public Health Authorities for best
practices in safety protocols to hold an in-person event. We will continue to
monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will update our attendees as the situation
continues to evolve.
What
happens to in-person registrations if the meeting cannot be held in Boston?
If the in-person meeting cannot be held,
all registrations will be updated for virtual attendance and will not be
eligible for a refund.
Can I change my
registration type from in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person?

to change registration type (virtual or in-person) must be completed through
the required form:
