Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV)
The IADR General Session & Exhibition in Washington, D.C. March 18-21, 2020 will proceed as planned.

The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and its Divisions have been following the developments regarding the new strain of coronavirus causing pneumonia-like symptoms first identified in China, although now in several other countries.  On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the that the outbreak of 2019-nCoV constituted a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).

Travel advisories have been issued regarding travel to China and most airline carriers have greatly reduced the number of flights to and from China for the coming weeks.  It is unknown at this point if travel restrictions will still be in place in March.

Delegates unable to travel to Washington DC due to coronavirus-related travel restrictions should refer to IADR refund, cancellation and substitution policy.
