The 2022 AADOCR/CADR Annual Meeting will be a hybrid meeting. A hybrid meeting offers attendees both virtual components and in-person events. You can choose to attend the meeting in-person in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, or you can attend virtually from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. This truly accessible meeting allows attendees to connect, collaborate, and participate without potential travel or physical space restrictions. In-person and virtual attendees will use the same AADOCR hybrid meeting platform to view sessions, discuss research, network, view the exhibitors and more.
All scientific presentations that are happening in-person in Atlanta will be viewable by virtual attendees. Virtual attendees will have the capabilities to ask the presenters questions and interact similarly as in-person attendees through the virtual platform. In-person registrants will have access to all the virtual presentations and content through the AADOCR hybrid platform using their own device. With this hybrid format, attendees are also able to view sessions they may have missed, due to overlap or time zones, on-demand within hours of the live session. On-demand viewers can then use the hybrid platform to engage in discussion with presenters they may have missed live.

To complete submission of an abstract a non-refundable $25 USD fee must be paid when prompted. This is a one-time processing fee, implemented in 2021, for each unique abstract partially covers the expense of the abstract submission and peer review system. Additionally, the abstract submission fee allows the Group Program Chair and other peer review volunteers essential to the scientific program creation process, more time to create cohesive and impactful programs for attendees as it reduces the amount of administrative time used to ensure compliance with presenter pre-registration requirements. Should an existing abstract submission need to be returned to draft for edits prior to the submission deadline the fee will not be re-charged.
However, should a new abstract submission be created as opposed to returning an existing abstract submission to draft to make edits, the non-refundable $25 USD fee will be charged again.
