Why Serve on a Committee?

Each year, IADR seeks a diverse group of volunteers to fill committee vacancies, representing a broad range of geographic regions and scientific disciplines. Committee service offers an opportunity to contribute to the Association’s mission while collaborating with colleagues across the global oral health research community.

Terms of Service

• Committee Members: Three-year term (unless otherwise noted)
• Committee Chairs: One-year term, selected from current committee members (typically in their final year of service)

New terms of service will begin at the conclusion of the 2027 IADR/APR General Session & Exhibition, held June 21–26, in Melbourne, Australia.

Eligibility and How to Apply

• You must be a current IADR member to submit a nomination.
• Applications must be submitted through the members portal of the IADR website using your username and password.

Self-nominations are encouraged.

Required Materials

All candidates must submit a brief biosketch (maximum 500 characters) describing their involvement with IADR and/or contributions to oral health research in support of their candidacy.
