Journal of Dental Research
Get access to IADR’s flagship journal, the IADR/AADR Journal of Dental Research (JDR). The JDR is a multidisciplinary journal dedicated to the dissemination of new knowledge in all sciences relevant to dentistry and the oral cavity and associated structures in health and disease. All IADR members get online access to the JDR and a discounted rate for a print subscription.

The JDR holds a 2-year Impact Factor in the “Dentistry, Oral Surgery & Medicine” category at  4.914, ranking #3 of 91 journals, #2 without self-citations and #2 in Article Influence with a score of 1.627. The JDR’s 5-year Impact Factor remained above 5 for the fifth year at 5.844 — ranking #2 of 91 journals. The JDR is ranked #1 in Eigenfactor with a score of 0.019860 and in total number of citations at over 20,0000.

JDR Clinical & Translational Research

The JDR Clinical & Translational Research is a peer-reviewed, quarterly journal that is dedicated to publishing original research at the interface between discovery science and clinical application, with the translation of research into healthcare delivery systems at the individual patient, clinical practice and community levels.

Advances in Dental Research
Advances in Dental Research, an e-supplement to the JDR, is a forum for detailed exploration and timely discussion of significant research developments in the sciences relevant to dentistry and to the chemistry, biology and function of the oral cavity in health and disease, including conference proceedings, workshops and symposia.

Join IADR Scientific Groups & Networks

Connect with others within your specialty area of dental, oral and craniofacial research! IADR member and Retired member dues include membership in one of the 32 IADR Scientific Groups and Networks. IADR Region, Division & Section Participation

Connect with other IADR members locally! IADR Members are grouped into Regions and within those Regions are local Divisions or Sections based on geographic location. Regions, Divisions and Sections promote IADR membership on a local level, hold many meetings during the IADR General Session and organize events throughout the year.

Regional Development Program

The Regional Development Program is a yearly call for grants that is designed to promote and strengthen the oral health research infrastructure in developing regions throughout the world with the goal of increasing the regions ability to perform research effectively. Applications must be submitted by IADR Region, Division and Section officers.

Adopt-a-Member Program

Support memberships for researchers in low or middle income countries as defined by the World Bank around the world. Members can include additional funds with their annual dues for the Adopt-a-Member program.
