Executive Board Interventions
The World Health Organization Executive Board (WHO EB) is responsible for implementing the decisions and policies established by the World Health Assembly (WHA), which serves as WHO’s principal decision-making body. Each January, during its annual meeting, the WHO EB determines the agenda and drafts the resolutions to be considered at the upcoming WHA.
Regional Meetings
IADR engages at World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Meetings to elevate the role of oral health research in regional health strategies. These meetings bring together policymakers and stakeholders within WHO regions to shape health priorities and guide implementation of global frameworks. By contributing scientific expertise and advocating for the integration of dental, oral, and craniofacial research, IADR helps ensure that oral health is recognized as a vital component of equitable, people-centered health systems.
