IADR Oral Health Research Young Investigators Travel Award

The abstract must be presented at the IADR General Session & Exhibition. The award is open to pre-doctoral, post-doctoral students and students who are in a certified dental hygiene program who:

• Have an accepted abstract in Oral Health Research
• Are presenting the abstract themselves
• Submit a letter of confirmation the applicant is a pre-doctoral/ post-doctoral/Dental Hygiene student (see procedures for more information)

• Select the IADR Oral Health Research Young Investigators Travel Award during the IADR General Session online abstract submission process.
• Submit a letter of confirmation that the applicant is a pre-doctoral/post-doctoral/Dental or Dental Hygiene Student. Letters must be sent to the Awards Chair, Chun-Wang (Reinhard) Chau email:rcwchau@hku.hk.
   

The OHRG Board Members will select the winner. Selection is based on originality, scientific rigor and potential impact on global oral health.

The award will be presented during the annual business meeting of the OHRG during the General Session. The award is meant to help cover travel to and accommodation at the IADR General Session. For travel to a meeting site that is on the same continent as the applicant’s residence, the award will amount to US $1,500. For travel to a different continent, the award will be US $2,000 and certificate.
