IADR Announces Recipients of the 2026 IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Award

Alexandria, VA, USA – The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) has announced the 2026 recipients of the IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Award. The recipients were recognized during the Opening Ceremonies of the 104th General Session of the IADR, which was held in conjunction with the 55th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research and the 50th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research on March 25-28, 2026 in San Diego, CA, USA.

The recipients are:  

  • Nourhan Aly, Alexandria University, Africa/Middle East Region
  • Aditya Banerjee, University of Michigan, North American Region
  • Jonathan Rafael Garbim, Universidade de São Paulo, Latin American Region
  • Irene Mallor Solís, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech, Pan European Region
  • Fatemeh Tavakkoli, University at Buffalo, North American Region
  • Yali Wei, Sichuan University, Asia/Pacific Region

Supported by Colgate-Palmolive Company, the IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Awards encourage young investigators to undertake research in the prevention of oral diseases and to facilitate their presentation of this work to the international dental and oral health research community. Awardees received a travel stipend to attend the IADR General Session & Exhibition and a commemorative plaque.
