Alexandria, VA, USA – The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) has announced the 2026 recipients of the IADR Lion Dental Research Award. The recipients were recognized during the Opening Ceremonies of the 104th General Session of the IADR, which was held in conjunction with the 55th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research and the 50th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research on March 25-28, 2026, in San Diego, CA, USA.

The Lion Dental Research Award is intended to support improvements in oral health sciences through the stimulation of junior researchers by recognition of outstanding and innovative research in basic dental science for the improvement of public dental health, and recognition of applied research achievements for improvement and development of oral care products for the prevention or oral diseases. The award is made possible by a generous donation from the Lion Corporation, Tokyo, Japan.
