IADR Pediatric Oral Health Research SEA Award

1.    Must be member of IADR and IADR Southeast Asian Division at the time of application.
2.    Applicants are required to be members of the IADR POHR group by the time of application and receipt of the prize.
3.    Applicants should have completed their last degree, fellowship, or training program within the last 5 years in any discipline. (For the award in 2025, eligible applicants should have completed their last degree, fellowship or training program in 2020 on)
4.    The candidate must provide a letter from the graduate institution demonstrating that the candidate graduated within 5 years.
5.    Applicants can only apply under one category of the Pediatric Oral Health Research Group Awards in any given year.
 

Research submitted for presentation in the General Session & Exhibition of the IADR will be eligible for consideration for the award, provided it has not been published.
When submitting the abstract, you must select the Pediatric Oral Health Research Group and the IADR Pediatric Oral Health Research SEA Award, sponsored by Taiwan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, must be selected.
Each applicant must be the primary author and be the presenter of an abstract accepted for presentation at the IADR General Session. The applicant must pre-register for the General Session.

The Award will take the form of a plaque and a cash prize of US $1,000.00.
The Award recipient must attend:
1. The IADR General Session in the year in which the Award is made.
2. The Pediatric Oral Health Research Group annual business meeting where the awardee will be announced and receive the plaque.
 

The POHR Group President will convene a judging panel comprising the current Executive Committee of the Pediatric Oral Health Research Group. This panel will evaluate applications and select up to 4 finalists.
The second round of the competition will consist of a poster or oral presentation session where each finalist will have an opportunity to present their research to the judges. The winner(s) will be announced at a Pediatric Oral Health Research Group business meeting. These finalists will be judged for the quality of the presentation and responses to questions.

The candidate may apply to be a member of Taiwan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (TAPD).
