Accompanying persons are defined as non-dentists, non-researchers, and have never been IADR members who may be traveling with a meeting delegate. Accompanying persons cannot have interest in the meeting.
Accompanying persons who wish to attend your presentation must be registered and pay the applicable fee as part of your own registration process. Onsite, they will receive a color-coded ribbon on site. The ribbon will admit an accompanying person for one day of the scientific meeting only and all social events.
Meeting delegates' students, lab technicians, colleagues, past IADR members, co-authors, exhibitor personnel, dental product company employees, individuals 16 years and younger, etc., do not qualify as accompanying persons. Accompanying persons are not eligible to earn continuing education credits and will not receive a certificate of attendance for the meeting.
