Alexandria, VA, USA – The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) has announced the 2025 recipients of the IADR LION Dental Research Award. The recipients were recognized during the Opening Ceremonies of the 103rd General Session of the IADR, which was held in conjunction with the IADR/Pan European Regional Congress on June 25-28, 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.

Microbiology/Immunology Research
The LION Dental Research Award, now in its 25th year, is intended to support improvements in oral health sciences through the stimulation of junior researchers by recognition of outstanding and innovative research in basic dental science for the improvement of public dental health, and recognition of applied research achievements for improvement and development of oral care products for the prevention or oral diseases. Awardees must have an accepted abstract in either the Cariology, BEHSR, or Microbiology/Immunology scientific groups. The award is made possible by a generous donation from the LION Corporation, Tokyo, Japan.
