IADR Announces Recipients of the David B. Scott Fellowship Award

Alexandria, Va., USA, May 6, 2020 – The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) announced the 2020 recipients of the David B. Scott Fellowship.

  • Aisha Almulla, sixth year dental student, Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University
  • Latifah Ibrahim, sixth year dental student, Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University

The David B. Scott Fellowship is normally awarded annually to one dental student in one IADR Division and will rotate alphabetically among the Divisions. It is the Division's responsibility to select the recipient by any method it devises, but the Division must present the candidate's name and the proposal for his or her research experience to the IADR Board for approval. This year, the Kuwaiti Division determined there was a tie between two exceptional students.  The IADR expects to award the David B. Scott Fellowship in the amount of US$2,500.

Due to the cancellation of the 2020 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session, the awards were given locally.
