Rose-Anne Romano and coauthors win IADR/AADR JDR Cover of the Year Award, 2019

Alexandria, Va., USA, May 6, 2020 – The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and American Association for Dental Research (AADR) announce Rose-Anne Romano and coauthors won the IADR/AADR Journal of Dental Research Cover of the Year, 2019 for the paper Transcriptomic and Single-Cell Analysis of the Murine Parotid Gland” J Dent Res 98(13): 1539-1547.

The JDR Cover of the Year Award, 2019 cover shows expression pattern of proteins differentially expressed in the murine submandibular glands. Immunofluorescence staining in the glands displays nerve growth factor and nerve growth factor receptor co-expression in the ducts of the gland.

The award, voted on by the IADR/AADR Publications Committee, honors the cover that features an aesthetically pleasing, scientifically novel image that enhances the impact of the article. All 13 JDR covers from 2019 were reviewed.
