Yuan Liu and Elena Calciolari Named 2021 Recipients of the IADR Joseph Lister Award for Young Investigators

Alexandria, Va., USA – The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 IADR Joseph Lister Award for Young Investigators. The winners were recognized during the Opening Ceremonies of the virtual 99th General Session & Exhibition of the IADR, held in conjunction with the 50th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Dental Research (AADR) and the 45th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research (CADR), on July 21-24, 2021.

Ten finalists were selected to give a virtual oral presentation on July 19, 2021 to the judging committee.

The 2021 winners are:

Monetary Awards include $5,000 USD to the First Place Winner, $3,000 USD to the Second Place Winner and $500 USD to each of the eight runners up. The IADR Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators is managed by the IADR and supported by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. The Awards Competition was created to award new investigators with original research in oral disease prevention or oral health promotion.
