IADR Newell W. Johnson Travel Award

• Be a new investigator-up to five years post-graduation from dental, specialty training, or pre-PhD are eligible to apply for a travel award. (No persons having already obtained a PhD are eligible to apply.)
• Reside in a low to upper middle income Country, as defined by the most recently available World Bank Classification by Gross National Income (GNI). Classification can be found on p.2 of IADR Membership Application here.
• In addition, entrants can only receive this travel award once. 
• Have an accepted abstract to the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
• Applicants MUST be IADR members at the time of abstract deadline.

•    Must have an accepted abstract for the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
•    Entrants must provide a verification letter of their educational status.
•    Applicants must also submit a separate and more detailed overview of their projects (2 pages, double-spaced).
 

One award of $2,000 will be granted for travel costs for the recipient to attend the IADR General Session & Exhibition and Plaque. 

Selection of the successful candidate will be made by the IADR Fellowships Committee The recipient will be formally announced at the IADR General Session & Exhibition. 

The Endowment was created with a generous donation from Dr. Newell W. Johnson and approved by the IADR Board of Directors. The award is also supported by donations from IADR members.
