  • Nominees must be full members of the IADR Periodontal Research Group (PRG) at the time of application.
  • A nominee shall have accomplished innovative and significant basic or clinical research related to prevention and non-surgical treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases.
  • There is no age restriction for this award.

Prof Dr. Nicole Arweiler

Head and Director of Department of Periodontology and peri-implant diseases, Philipps University of Marburg, Germany. Conducted and led numerous studies on the clinical and antibacterial effect of oral hygiene products as well as on evaluation of different modalities of non-surgical, surgical and regenerative periodontal therapy. Authored and co-authored more than 200 publications in national and international peer reviewed journals (Impact Factor 450, H-Index 48). 
Main focus of clinical work: (early on) diagnostics and therapy of inflammatory periodontal and peri-implant diseases.
