Disable Pop-ups For Accessing Abstract Site

How to allow pop-ups by browser.

• Google Chrome

  Allow for one site while on site

  1. Visit my.iadr.org and login
  2. Click the lock icon in the address bar
     
  3. In the menu, ensure that the item "Pop-ups and redirects" is toggled to allowed
     
  4. Refresh the page
  5. Once you visit ScholarOne Abstracts, follow the same steps to allow pop-ups on that site.

  Add site to settings or allow global pop-ups

  1. Click the Chrome menu button.
     Note: The button is on the upper-right of the browser and is indicated by three dots.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. On the left hand side select Privacy and security, then Site settings.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and click Pop-ups and redirects.
  5. Here you can adjust the default behavior using the radio buttons at the top
     or
     Select the Add button next to "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects" and enter https://my.iadr.org/

• Firefox

  Allow for one site while on site

  1. Visit my.iadr.org/scholaroneevents and login
  2. Click the text "Open Event Site"
  3. This should open a new tab with an alert that a pop-up was prevented from opening
     
  4. Select the Options button and "Always allow pop-ups for my.iadr.org
     
  5. This will reload the page and allow you to access ScholarOne Abstracts
  6. You will be presented with a similar popup alert which you should allow within ScholarOne Abstracts

  Add site to settings or allow global pop-ups

  1. Click the Open menu button (three bars) in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Select Privacy & Security on the left side.
  4. Scroll down to the permissions section
  5. To allow all popups, uncheck the Block pop-up windows box.
     or
     Select the Exceptions... button next to "Block pop-up windows" and enter https://my.iadr.org/ and click allow.
  6. Save changes and refresh webpage

• Safari

  Allow for one site while on site

  1. Visit my.iadr.org/scholaroneevents and login
  2. Click the Safari menu.
  3. Select Preferences from the drop-down.
  4. Click Websites in the top bar.
  5. Click Pop-up Windows located on the left side.
  6. On the right a list of currently open windows should display, next to my.iadr.org from the dropdown select Allow.
  7. Follow the same steps to allow pop-ups once in ScholarOne Abstracts.

• Edge

  Allow for one site while on site

  1. Visit my.iadr.org/scholaroneevents and login
  2. Select the lock icon on the left of the address bar and select "Permissions for this site"
  3. This opens a new tab for settings, find the item Pop-ups and redirects and click Allow
     
  4. Close the options and reload the my.iadr.org page. You are now able to select "Open Event Site" and access ScholarOne Abstracts
  5. You will be presented with a similar popup alert which you should allow within ScholarOne Abstracts

  Add site to settings or allow global pop-ups

  1. Open Edge
  2. Click the Open menu button (three dots) in the upper-right corner.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Select Cookies and site permissions on the left side.
  5. Scroll down to the find Pop-ups and redirects
  6. To allow all popups, toggle off the Block icon
     or
     To add just the iadr site, select Add button next to Allow and enter https://my.iadr.org/ and click add.
  7. Save changes and refresh webpage
