Despite major advances in oral health research, the translation of evidence into policy and practice remains slow and uneven. This presentation explores the barriers that limit research impact beyond publication, including implementation challenges, system constraints, stakeholder engagement, and policy processes. It discusses practical strategies for moving from evidence generation to real-world change, with a focus on improving population oral health and reducing inequalities.
