IADR Implantology Group Dental Student Implant Research Travel Award

•    Must be an IADR student member and member of the IADR Implantology Group
•    Must be enrolled in an accredited dental program (DMD, DDS, or equivalent)
•    Must be presenting an abstract related to implant dentistry
•    May not have received the award in the past 48 months


 

Interested students must submit the following materials by the application deadline:
1.    Apply for the IADR Implantology Group Dental Student Implant Research Travel Award in the abstract submission site by the deadline set by IADR.

The additional materials must be compiled to one PDF for consideration and emailed to the award contact below
2.    A 500-word personal statement describing their interest in dental implant research and how attending the conference will benefit their education and future career, and the significance of the research project
3.    A current CV or résumé
4.    One letter of recommendation from the student’s research mentor

The travel award payment will be processed by IADR following presentation at the IADR General Session and at the request of the Implantology Group. 

The abstract and nomination packages submitted are reviewed by the IADR Implantology Group Awards Subcommittee and the AO Global University Task Force officers. The selection will be based on the following criteria:
•    Strength of personal statement
•    Demonstrated commitment to dental research in dental implants 
•    Faculty recommendation
