Eligibility and Rules
- Members may apply for only one Scientific Group or Network position per election cycle.
- Members may serve as an officer in only one Scientific Group or Network at a time.
- Candidates must be current members of IADR and of the Scientific Group or Network for which they are nominated.
- Self-nominations are encouraged. If you would like to nominate a candidate other than yourself, please visit www.iadr.org/IADR-Nominations

Election Process
Elections are held with the IADR General Election.
- IADR and Retired members receive ballots for Vice President and for officers of the Scientific Groups or Networks they belong to.
- Student members receive ballots only for their Scientific Groups or Networks.
Timeline
The election will be held in late 2026. Successful candidates will begin their terms after the 2027 IADR/APR General Session & Exhibition in Melbourne, Australia (June 23-26).
