The Education Research Group’s (ERG) of the International Association for Dental Research is a dynamic group of educators, scientists and clinicians whose scope of research targets all aspects of dental education -- learning, teaching, technology and innovation. Special seminars and workshops offer a forum to review and assess the latest advances in didactic, preclinical and clinical instruction as well as variety of related topics from new technologies to continuing professional education.

ERG Awards, Grants, Fellowships and Competitions
The Education Research Group (ERG) invites proposals of up to $2,500 USD for consideration. The ERG Grant is designed to fund an educational research endeavor that leads to the promotion or dissemination of effective learning and/or teaching activities in dental education.
Best Presentation Awards are given to the oral or poster presentation judged to be the best in the ERG sessions at the Annual General Session and Exhibition of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR). Usually one award is given to the best student presentation and one award to the best faculty presentation.
