Late Breaking Abstract Deadline
Now Open for Late-Breaking Abstract Submissions
The Late-Breaking Abstract Submission Deadline is December 5th, 2025, 11:59 p.m. PST (UTC-8)
All Abstract notification emails will be sent to PRESENTING AUTHORS ONLY in Mid-December
Late breaking abstracts provide an opportunity for new research findings made since the close of the regular abstract submission process, and allow for those researchers affected by the recent U.S. Government shut down to submit their research findings and participate in the meeting. All late breaking abstracts will be reviewed by the IADR/AADOCR Annual Session Committee.
IMPORTANT:
- Accepted abstracts will be presented in poster sessions within the scientific program of the General Session taking place on Thursday, March 26 through Saturday, March 28, 2026.
- The abstracts will follow the same format, word limit, rules, and guidelines as traditional General Session abstracts as outlined in the Call for Abstracts.
- Late breaking abstracts cannot be duplicates of abstracts already submitted as an IADR General Session Abstract Submission type. This is not an opportunity to submit updates or revise abstracts that have already been submitted.
- Designated presenters on late breaking abstracts may not already be presenters on an abstract submitted as an IADR General Session Abstract Submission type.
- Late breaking abstracts may not apply for any abstract based awards.
- Accepted abstract presenters must complete their registration by the presenter registration deadline of January 15, 2026 to keep their abstract in the scientific program.
- Space for late breaking abstracts is limited.
- Abstract Withdraw/Presenter Change Request & Refund Request Form – The required form to request a presenter change or withdrawal of an abstract. If you are making a presenter change request, please note that individuals may present only one abstract (excluding Symposia, Hands-on Workshops and Keynote Speakers); additionally, requests should be made well in advance of the presenter pre-registration deadline of January 15, 2026.
- Any plans to make changes to the designated presenter must be communicated to the IADR Global Headquarters for approval.
- IADR/AADOCR Policy on Full Disclosure - All presenters must abide by this policy along with the IADR/AADOCR Abstract Licensing Policy. All speakers of oral presentations are required to include a slide listing any conflict of interest disclosures.
- All presenters are required to follow the Professional Conduct at Meetings Policy.
